Rob is the founder and President of IME Preparation, Inc.  He is a trial attorney in Atlanta, Georgia specializing in workers’ compensation and personal injury.  Rob has been named a Georgia Rising Star SuperLawyer by Atlanta magazine for three consecutive years.  This is an honor bestowed upon attorneys that are deemed to be in the top 2.5% in their practice area.  Additionally, Rob has been named a Top 40 Under 40, and Top 100 by the National Trial Lawyers Association.  He has tried numerous cases all over the State of Georgia, as well as appeals before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court.  Rob’s efforts in Dekalb Board of Education v. Singleton, 294 Ga. App. 96; 668 S.E. 2d 767 (2008) was a landmark in that the decision allowed for an employee to continue to receive income benefits for a psychic disability despite the resolution of the physical injury.  Rob has recovered over $10,000,000.00 in benefits for his clients.

Rob is a frequent lecturer on workers’ compensation law having spoken at nearly every major yearly seminar on workers’ compensation law over the past few years.  Currently, he serves on the Board of the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Section of the Atlanta Bar Association.  Rob is also a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.

The idea for IME Preparation, Inc. was born out of Rob’s recognition and frustration with the mistakes made by clients attending IMEs.  As such, Rob wished to create a means to provide both legal and medical knowledge to his clients that would ensure that they could achieve the best result possible from their IME.  Moreover, Rob wanted a means to prepare his clients for the tricks that IME physicians use to give them ammunition to opine that the patient is engaging in symptom magnification, malingering, secondary gain, etc.  Rob is hopeful that this revolutionary method of preparing clients for their IMEs will allow plaintiffs and claimants to come to their IMEs armed with the knowledge that will help them avoid pitfalls and receive fair treatment from the physicians utilized by the insurance carriers.

Bob Hendrix is Vice President of Sales & National Marketing Director for IME Preparation, Inc.  In addition, he functions as the company’s Chief Technology Officer.  Among his other business interest, he is President of Elegant Image Studios, Inc.  Bob brings to the table years of experience in sales, management & marketing.  His sales and marketing experience ranges from the insurance and advertising industries to automotive sales including Internet Sales Director for a major national automotive dealer group.  His web design firm, Elegant Image Studios Web Design which is a full-line digital creative agency has been responsible for over 3,000 websites.  The firm specializes in corporate branding and is also recognized as the largest provider of law firm websites in Georgia.  Not only does he manage the client development side of the business and leads the development team, he also collaborates on design, managing projects, and writing code.  Bob’s depth of experience in sales, marketing, and technology gives him a decided edge.

Laura is our Webmaster and provides sales support. She was responsible for designing our website and maintaining it. Not only is Laura an accomplished artist in the medium of pencil, but she has also been involved in computer graphics for over 20 years.

She provides sales support as well and handles marketing campaigns for IME Preparation. Laura makes certain that orders are shipped on the same day and helps to facilitate smooth sales transactions.
